The Race For Seven: Six-Time Defending Champ CCSU Tabbed Unanimous NEC Men's Cross Country Favorite

It should come as no surprise that the Central Connecticut men s cross county team has been chosen as the unanimous favorite to win the 2015 Northeast Conference Men s Cross Country title. Only six NEC sports programs have tallied six straight conference championships in the league s 34 year history, and the Blue Devils become the first men s cross country program to accomplish the feat a year ago. Only Quinnipiac in women's cross country (eight straight NEC titles from 2005-12) and Mount St. Mary's in women's tennis (seven in a row from 1989-95) have had a longer extended run of dominance.
