Bottorff won '11 NCAA 10k title in the heat of Iowa and she is running significantly better than ever. She has completely dominated all competition. Bottorff may stay with D'Agostino until the end but may be outkicked. No one expected D'Agostino two years ago because injuries wrecked her freshman cross year. Bottorff dealt with injuries in '11-'12 , she is coming back with a vengeance after a course record at Adidas XC challenge

Will Abbey D'Agostino be challenged at any point before nationals? She destroyed everyone, again, and has limited front running competition at the Wisco meet in two weeks. Her top challenger(s) there will be Providence's front running trio and Juliet Bottorff. I think Bottorff could give her a run, at least for 4k.

According to RunHigh.com, the Women's White 6k and all high school events were cancelled. They posted on their site:
"High School events were cancelled by the regional EMS Services
Hot, humid conditions contributed to an overwhelming number of heat related problems
It was difficult for EMS services to meet the demand of the casualties
At one time 6 ambulances, 3 fire trucks and multiple EMS services were on-site"
