1 (4). Brie Oakley, senior, Grandview (Colorado): Put up a stunning speed rating of 165 (Bill Meylan of Tullyrunners.com) at the Colorado state meet and ran nearly 30 seconds faster than Katie Rainsberger at Norris-Penrose Event Center.

2 (2). Jessica Lawson, senior, Corning (New York): Won her conference meet handily.

3 (10). Claudia Lane, sophomore, Malibu (California): Became the sixth-fastest performer ever at the Mt. SAC Invitational.

4 (7). Kate Murphy, senior, Lake Braddock (Virginia): She won her conference meet and was six seconds faster than 2015 time.

5 (1). Nevada Mareno, senior, Leeville Road (North Carolina): Not quite on 2015 pace, but also not to be overlooked in the postseason.

6 (5). Cailie Logue, senior, Girard (Kansas): She won the Kansas 4A title for the fourth time.

7 (6). Allie Schadler, senior, Rio Rico (Arizona): She won her sectional title and has state on Saturday.

8 (8). Kelsey Chmiel, sophomore, Saratoga Springs (New York): Won the Suburban Council title.

9 (12). London Culbreath, freshman, McKinney North (Texas): She won her region meet by 54 seconds.

10 (13). Molly Born, junior, Shawnee Mission Northwest (Kansas): She won the Kansas 6A title.

11 (14). Ashton Endsley, senior, Abilene (Texas): She won her region championship by 35 seconds.

12 (9). Lauren Gregory, senior, Fort Collins (Colorado): She placed second in the Colorado 5A race.

13 (11). Libby Davidson, senior, E.C. Glass (Virginia): She won her conference meet in 18:11.

14 (17). Tiahna Vladic, sophomore, Billings Senior (Montana): She won the Montana state AA title in 16:40 (3 miles).

15 (16). Katelyn Tuohy, freshman, North Rockland (New York): Rapidly developing into a national contender.

16 (15). Anna Gibson, senior, Jackson (Wyoming): She won the Wyoming 4A title by 27 seconds.

17 (18). Lydia Olivere, junior, Padua (Delaware): Gearing up to defend Delaware state title.

18 (23). Jordan Oakes, senior, Holy Names (Washington): Poised to win her second Washington 3A title this weekend.

19 (20). Rebecca Story, junior, Christian Academy of Knoxville (Tennessee): She runs at the Tennessee state meet on Saturday.

20 (21). Heather Holt, junior, George C. Marshall (Virginia): She won her conference meet by almost 90 seconds.

21 (3). Annie Hill, junior, Glacier (Montana): Rough state meet showing knocks her back a bit.

22 (25). Aislinn Devlin, senior, Downingtown West (Pennsylvania): She ran a fast 17:12 at her district meet.

23 (19). Lexy Halladay, freshman, Mountain View (Idaho): She rebounded from a district meet collapse to win the Idaho 5A title.

24 (NR). Ember Stratton, sophomore, Sunset (Oregon): She ran an impressive 17:07.9 at the Metro League meet; state is Saturday at Lane Community College.

25 (22). Katherine Lee, junior, Shoreham-Wading River (New York): She won the Section 11 district meet at Sunken Meadow.

26 (24). Bailey Hertenstein, junior, Riverview (Florida): Big chance to shine at Florida state meet on Saturday.

27 (NR). Karly Ackley, senior, Grand Forks Central (North Dakota): She won the North Dakota Class A title in 17:13.2.

28 (27). Julia Heymach, senior, Lamar (Texas): She won her regional meet by 80 seconds.

29 (NR). Katelynne Hart, freshman, Glenbard West (Illinois): She’s on a roll heading into the Illinois state meet.

30 (NR). Jackie Gaughan, junior, Exeter (New Hampshire): She broke a 29-year-old state record in her divisional meet.
