Lombard, Ill --- Here are the entry standards for the 2013 Midwest Distance Festival. The 2^nd annual Midwest Distance Festival will take place at Benedictine University in Lisle IL on June 8, 2013 beginning at 6:30 PM.

We are also pleased to announce the addition of a Girls 2 Mile Race. There has been interest in adding the event from various coaches in the region. We thought that it would be beneficial to include this race into the meet program.

2013 Midwest Distance Festival Entry Standards

Girls

800 Meter Run                                  2:21.0

1 Mile Run                                        5:18.0 (for 1600 Meters)

2 Mile Run                                        11:15.0 (for 3200 Meters)

Boys

800 Meter Run                                1:56.0

1 Mile Run                                      4:24.0 (for 1600 Meters)

1 Mile Run (Frosh)                           4:48.0 (for 1600 Meters)

2 Mile Run                                      9:26.0 (for 3200 Meters)

2k Steeplechase                              Must have run 9:50 for 3200 Meters or 4:35 for 1600 Meters

There will also be a Co-Ed 5000 Meter Run beginning at 6:30 PM. You must be able to run this distance at 21:00 minutes or under.

Entries will open on May 1, 2013. The entry fee is $20 for all events.

Deadline to enter for the Midwest Distance Festival is 11:59 PM – June 4, 2013.
