I smell it in the air.  I am tired of waiting around and watching all these people jump and put up good marks while I am sitting on my butt not doing anything about it.  I want to give a congrats to Andra Manson who jumped 2.31m yesterday.  I know this guy is super talented and have a ton of respect for him.

For myself I am opening up on Tuesday and am looking forward to seeing how I can do.  I feel like I am in 2.30+ shape but it might take a meet or two for me to get there.  Again I am super strong relatively so I am not lacking in that department.

I leave today to go to Malmo, Sweden where I will be competeing in the hometown of now Swedens best high jumper Linus Thornblad (with the retirement of legend Stefan Holm).  I am pretty sure Yaroslav Rybakov Russians bronze medalist from last years Olympics games will be there as well.  But I have no clue who else will be there.

I have no heighted twice in the past 7 years and the last time I did no height it was in Malmo, Sweden so I have yet to clear anything in this city!  I am hoping to do a little better than that.

Meet goals

I would be happy with 2.27m or higher

I would be ok with 2.24m but a little upset

I would be concerned with a 2.20m jump or less so hopefully I dont have to go there!

We will see how it goes.  I will try and update the site in Sweden depending on the internet access.
