How should you prepare your body to perform your best? Warming up with dynamic stretches will help. Dynamic stretches differ from static stretches. Researchers have concluded that static stretches may decrease performance level if performed prior to sports activities. Dynamic stretching involves sport specific movements to prepare the muscles for a particular activity. Static stretches are still important because they're the best way to maintain flexibility and improve joint range of motion.
