Kingston's Dylan Wykes qualifies for the Olympic marathon

KINGSTON, ON - Dylan Wykes shattered his personal best on Sunday in the Netherlands to qualify for the 2012 Olympic marathon in London, England.In his last-ditch attempt to reach the Canadian standard of 2 hours 11 minutes 29 seconds, the local runner crossed the finish line in 2:10.47 at the ABN AMRO Rotterdam Marathon. He finished seventh overall at the race.
"Deepest I have ever dug," Wykes said on Twitter. "So happy."
