Who I Am...

Im a sophomore at the University of Oregon, I run for the Oregon running club. I had a really productive winter and am shooting for 4:05, 9:00, and 15:5x this track season. I ran for Oakridge HS in Oakridge, OR. In class 2A, our team was ranked #1 in the state every year I was in HS. In track and field we had mutiple runner up finishes and individual state champions. My senior year I trained with my best friend (and 5x state champion) Maxime Long. Because of the things I learned from Maxime, and the many older runners before us, I managed to finish 4th and 8th in both distance runs at the state meet.

I really wanted to run in college and walk on to a big school because I felt I had a lot of potential but I was offered 4 years of tuition at UO, paid in full. This would have been extremely hard to turn down so that's why I'm here and I have been fully satisfied with the decision. Our club team is like a family with many experienced/older runners to learn and train with. The trails here are unmatched anywhere in the US and just the feel of living in Track Town USA has been enough motivation for me to go after my 2 year old PRs and drop under 4 minutes before I graduate.

ps... its like 8am so excuse my bad grammar. I'm tired as hell.
