Meseret Defar and Three More Olympic Medalists Add Even More Depth to adidas Grand Prix
Meseret
Defar, the 2004 Olympic 5000m Champion, has been been confirmed to
compete in the Women's 1500m at Saturday's adidas Grand Prix. Defar
broke the world record for 5000m the last time she competed at the meet
in 2006, and will face a deep field that includes the reigning Olympic
Champion, and America's Shalane Flanagan, the Olympic bronze medalist
at 10000m. World Champion Phillips Idowu will compete in the Triple
Jump, while two-time World Champion Kerron Clement completes a stellar

forget that the start time for the adidas Grand Prix has been moved up
30 minutes and the meet now begins at 3PM. With more than 30 individual
