Eagles flying at Lemoine Point

The Sydenham Golden Eagles won the overall team title on Friday at the Kingston Area Secondary Schools Athletic Association cross-country championships at Lemoine Point.

Two Eagles athletes won individual races ? reigning Ontario high school midget girls 800 metre champ Nicole Armstrong edged Frontenac's Danae Morris in the junior girls race, while Sydenham's Nick Belore won the senior boys competition.

Chris Adams of Sydenham also won silver in junior boys.

The Regiopolis-Notre Dame Panthers and Kingston Blues tied for second.
