Records fall at Peel track & field
You'd have a hard time keeping up with Braydon Rennie and Alisha Williams. They each set an all-time record on day one of the Peel high school track and field championships at Centennial Park in Etobicoke this afternoon.
Rennie, a Grade 9 student at Erindale Secondary School, set a record in the midget boys' 1,500-metre race (4:10.38) while Williams, a Grade 11 student from St. Joan of Arc Catholic Secondary, set the new mark in the senior girls' 400-metre event (56.75).
