Twin brothers José Juan Esparza and Jesús Arturo Esparza of Mexico, with 800 m personal bests of 1:48.34 and 1:49.50 respectively, have confirmed their participation in the UBC Pre-Jerome men's 800 m.

Good news for the women as well - ten-time Canadian 800 m champion Diane Cummins' is now entered. Cummins was the 800 m bronze medallist at the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi, India. Here's an interview she did with Runnersfeed last year.
