Blue Dragons capture 4th straight COSSA title

Belleville — The East Northumberland Blue Dragons captured the overall Central Ontario Secondary School Association track and field championship for the fourth straight year and the ninth time since 2000 last Thursday at Belleville’s M.A. Sills Park.

Showing perfect balance between their boys and girls’ teams, the Blue Dragons tallied 438 overall points, (219 from each of the boys and girls) to capture the overall title. Bayside Red Devils were second with 237 team points while St. Theresa Titans placed third with 232 points. St. Theresa was second in girls and Fenelon Falls Falcons were second in boys.
