The 30th edition of the JPMorgan Chase Corporate Challenge in Syracuse was abbreviated from a competitive 3.5-mile road race to a 2-mile “fun run” with no timing clocks or individual winners.

At the 6:25 p.m. race start, the measured heat index by the National Weather Service was 92 degrees.
