Friday was a day that Amy Hastings will remember forever.

After years of hard work, dreaming and running, Hastings achieved her ultimate goal of becoming a member of the U.S. Olympic Team by winning the 10,000 meter finals at the U.S. Olympic Trials in Eugene, Ore.

After barely missing the achievement back in January at the U.S. Olympic Marathon Trials in Houston, her resolve became even stronger.
