When Sam Vazquez describes his surroundings, he cannot help but think of the big screen.
"It's beautiful here," Vazquez said of his host site, Canterbury Christ Church University in Kent, England. "The greenery and historic buildings are something I've only seen in movies."
If the Flagler Palm Coast and Embry-Riddle product, who will compete for Puerto Rico, pulls off the highly unexpected and somehow medals in the 1500 at the Summer Olympics, his story might be worthy of a movie, as well.
