LONDON --- Alberto Salazar must have felt like he was at his own wedding reception on Monday. 

It's been two days since America's long-distance running guru watched his star pupils, Mo Farah and Galen Rupp, finish 1-2 in the men's 10,000 meters at the Olympic Stadium. And here's Salazar at Nike House, standing in the lunch-room buffet line, trying to get a clean plate and some pasta and people just keep hugging him, and congratulating him, and shaking his hand.

"Nike brought this amazing chef over from Italy for this," Salazar said, "the whole spread's incredible."

Except, he may never eat.
