Thank you to EVERYONE who participated in our 2013 Pet Day 5k Fun Run!! We had a blast putting on this event and really do appreciate the support we have gotten from our community. This event is a fundraiser for the Oregon State College of Veterinary Medicine students. All the proceeds go towards student activities and graduation and we are proud to say that we have raised more funds than expected. The event is put on entirely by first and second year veterinary students along with some day-of volunteers. Needless to say this year did not turn out perfect, we apologize for the confusion on the course and extended "5k" distance. There was a miscommunication that lead to a bulk of runners being misdirected--regardless we hope that everyone had fun as that was our underlying goal! I have complete faith in the upcoming veterinary classes to put on a flawless race next year and hope to see as many enthusastic people and pets out running a true 5k race. We will post pictures and results as soon as possible. Once again, thank you for your understanding and support!

Come and Join us for the 26th annual Pet Day 5k Fun Run! This pet friendly event marks the kick off for Oregon State University College of Veterinary Medicine's open house: Pet Day. It will occur at 9am on May 4, 2013. All (leashed) pets are welcomed to join you on this scenic 5k through the beautiful Oregon State University campus and stick around to check out the family friendly events of Pet Day. This event is put on by first and second year veterinary students as a fundraising opportunity for our classes and school. We look forward to seeing you in May!
