Point Grey TFC members were in action last Sunday at the Prairie Inn Harriers' Pioneer 8K, in Saanichton, BC. It was Race #1 of the Timex BC Road Running Series, and the Frontrunners Island Race Series.

Sam Pawluk just missed the podium, finishing fourth in 25:14. Mark Wilkie was close behind, in sixth, at 25:39.

When asked about his race, Pawluk said it went "Okay."

Mark Wilkie had more to say. "Certainly haven't done the work. From the couch to the course... hard to run fast."

Steve Osaduik won in 24:46, trailed by Jim Finlayson, second in 25:03, and Dylan Gant, third in 25:10.

Sabrina Wilkie was the eighth woman to cross the line, in 30:01.
