I am a pole vaulter.  Currently I am competing for Oregon based Team XO.  I first began pole vaulting as a sophomore  at Sweet Home High School.  After high school I jumped for a club team out of Salem , OR called, The Vertical Vault Cub, coached by Paul Wilson.  After my first season I PR'ed by a foot and a half, and transfered to Lane CC.  I completed 2 years at Lane, and in the process set a new school record of 5.01m (16' 51/4").  After Lane I transfered to the University of Oregon.  I competed for only 1 season at UO before again transferring to Idaho State University, where I was coached by Dave Nielson, Paul Litchfield, and Stacy Dragila.  During the coarse of my stint at ISU I was involved in an accident in which I sustained a head injury (TBI) while vaulting, to close my collegiate career.  Currently I am coached by the very talented and knowledgeable Dan West, who has had a very successful career coaching vaulters and other track and field events at every level from high school to the olympics.
