Scott Simmons is the coach of nationally ranked NCAA DII Queens University of Charlotte He also coaches the athletes of the American Distance Project and is the co-author of the book Take The Lead: A Revolutionary Approach To Coaching Cross Country. He has led his college teams to five national championships and is a six-time NAIA National Coach of the Year. Coach Simmons gives his thoughts on how the body will adjust to new training if given time to recovery.
