As for why I contacted you, something I came across while reading something you had posted a while back must have piqued my interest. To be honest I no longer recall what it was. If my memory serves me correctly, it pertained to an article or news story posted here at Runner Space several years ago, hence the question about whether or not you were still an active member of the community here.



I was new to the site at the time, and I think the reason I had contacted you had something to do with Runner Space itself, as you appear to be among the more visible members here which lends to the assumption that you probably know the site and community pretty well. If I recall whatever it was that prompted me to contact you, I'll let you know if in fact it's of enough importance to merit doing so.



Just out of curiosity, what's the deal with that barcode-looking thingy below your reply? I'm seeing those things everywhere --- from the newspaper to the web --- and have no idea what they are or what they're for.
