Who I Am...

I grew up in Thousand Oaks, CA, and got involved in Track and Field when I was 8 years-old because I wanted to see how far I could jump (I thought I could go pretty far). That year my parents signed my brother and I up for youth Track and Field (The Thousand Oaks Flyers). The rest is history and I've been a runner ever since! I competed for Thousand Oaks HS, culminating in D1 CA Southern section Finals for Cross Country and a 5th place Ventura County Finals in the 1600 with a pr of 4:23.

During college I ran for Cal State San Marcos under Steve Scott (I knew him as coach) for one year. I had a significant injury (stressed sartorious muscle) that took me out for the entire season, save the first race where I ran 26:46 for 8k. I ran that race while injured. I red shirted the next season, I had just started up running in February. I decided to trasfer schools to Humboldt State University and would compete for them, as well as the club team, River City Rebels, based out of Sacremento, for the year in which I was inelidgable to compete due to transfering. While competing for the club I got to travel up and down the West Coast as part of the Pacific region of USATF club cross country series. At the end of the year I competed in Kentucky in the USATFCCC championships.

Now I am mostly a recreational runner, with hopes of putting together solid training blocks and being able to compete consistantly again. I hope to use this page as a means to become involved in the running world, to communicate to atheletes and fans alike, and to boost my career potential in the industry which hold my dearest passion. I am currently studying coaching techniques and will one day be a coach. I am also business minded and hold management experience and hope to take my business experience into the running world. Look at what I do and if you like it let me know!
