Matt Llano is originally from Poughkeepsie, NY and transitioned from soccer to running his junior year in high school. He attended college at the University of Richmond where he was an all american in the 10k. Matt now trains in Flagstaff, AZ with the Northern Arizona Elite and has become one of America’s top marathon and half-marathon runners. At the 2014 Houston Half Marathon, he ran a personal best of 61:47 and earned a spot representing Team USA at the World Half Marathon Championships.  Matt also has a personal best of 2:12:28 in the marathon, which he ran at the 2015 Berlin Marathon.
