Watchout, I think it was last year, you posted about how overall programs have done at NXN (rankings by average place, years qualified, etc). I've been trying to find it, but have had no luck. Do you still have that information? Or an updated list after this year's NXN?

I do, thanks for reminding me. I'll post that on the 'NXN Ratings & more' thread.

Shenendehowa was just off the list @ #43. I thought Saratoga ran their best race of the year (so far) at State.

Agreed. I suspect Palatine is a (very strong) early favorite to get a bid. Hard to imagine 4 more teams coming up with better resumes in the next few weeks.

I know it's early in qualifying process, and I'm from same state, but I'd say Palatine girls did themselves a world of good at NXR-Midwest. After finishing close 2nd in IL behind Naperville North (ahead of a fantastic Glenbard West team), they finished an even closer 3rd with 119 pts, behind Carmel (103pts) and Naperville N (113 pts). Tight 2-6 pack, depth to back it up, and their frontrunner is rounding back into form (7th at NXR after some relatively down races - for her - in October)

meylen-wise says SS ran about same last 2 weeks, maybe a tad better against shen...we will see soon enough!

Rob,

I was curios as to your thoughts on the "extended" (from your recent rankings) of the Southeast region. Boys side...

Looking through lots of results it may look like you "over ranked" Brentwood and perhaps a few of the other schools in the top 5. Many of them seem to have #5 man issue and beyond that could create a problem come post season big field meets such as NXRSE.

Braddock definitely looks to be the class of the field but are their any other teams that you think have "dropped" or are looking stronger as the year goes on...

Seems to be very "South" heavy in terms of the teams (obviously aside from Braddock) Any other "northern" teams looking strong or looking to sneak in? Nothing so far this year from Tatnall, Dulaney, Severna Park or another VA team impress/impressing you?

Thanks for any feedback.

I'm actually working on the Southeast results from the weekend right now. I'll have a better idea after I finish that up... I'm hoping to be able to include a bubble teams list to a give better idea of the depth behind the top teams, but can't make any promises.
