Fans can go cheer on the Ducks at the Civil War, get a photo and an autograph from a world record-holder and renew track and field season tickets (or purchase new season tickets) all in one convenient location this Saturday at Matthew Knight Arena.

Ashton Eaton, who recently broke his own world indoor heptathlon record by scoring 6,568 points in a meet in Estonia last month, will be signing autographs Saturday prior to the men's basketball Civil War game with Oregon State. He will also be honored during an on-floor ceremony during the first time out of the first half.

Eaton will be at the Southwest entrance (the one that faces Hayward Field) on the main concourse from noon-1 p.m. at a table that will have a plethora of information on the upcoming track & field season, as well as the 2012 Olympic Trials.

Not only will fans be able to meet and greet a world record-holder, but they can also enter a free raffle to win a pair of tickets to see Eaton chase a national decathlon title at the 2011 USA Track & Field Championships, which will be held this June at Hayward Field.

People will also be able to sign up for 2011 and 2012 season tickets, which will put them on the fast track to 2012 Olympic Trials tickets. The table on Saturday will also have information on the 2011 USA Championships, the 2012 Olympic Trials and the Oregon Track Club.

The Civil War game starts at 1 p.m.

That leads into a convenient remider that the season ticket renewal deadline is approaching and has been extended by one day - Saturday - for those who wish to meet Ashton Eaton and renew in person.
