NewsBINGSON...OLYMPIAN!!
UNLV's Amanda Bingson placed 2nd in the Olympic Trials Hammer Throw in Eugene, Oregon to earn a spot on the 2012 US Olympic Team. Bingson, a Silverado High School grad, threw 235-06 (71.78) just missing out on winning by 2 cm. to Amber Campbell (71.80). Bingson was leading after 4 throws but Campbell took the lead on her 5th throw with her 71.80. Congratulations Amanda. Complete results of the Hammer Throw.
