Collegiate Running Association becomes Association Partner with US Trail Running Conference

(Richmond, VA, July 12, 2015) -- The Collegiate Running Association is excited to announce it has become an Association Partner for the 2015 Estes Trail Ascent – US Trail Running Conference to be held October 7-10, 2015 in Estes Park, Colorado. The third annual conference is for trail runners of all levels, trail race directors, sponsors and vendors that are looking for an event to showcase their trail related products or services.

We recently held the first Collegiate Trail Running National Championship in history in conjunction with the newly created Indiana Urban Wilderness Run in Indianapolis on June 13 and we will hold our 2nd Collegiate Mountain Running National Championship on July 25 run concurrently with the U.S. Championships in Bend, Oregon. To be part of this conference, which is promoting the sport, and to help provide an avenue for college students to be introduced to trail running helps us on our own mission of promoting healthy lifestyles among college students through running.  We are thrilled to be part of this conference and Estes Park is an exceptional backdrop for this event.”  

Trail Running has seen exponential growth across the U.S. in recent years, and is poised to become one of the most popular outdoor active pursuits in the United States. The US Trail Running Conference is the first of its kind to be dedicated to this growing and dynamic segment of the sport of running. ​The 2015 US Trail Running Conference provides unique opportunities for both trail race directors and trail runners. Expert panelists lead sessions on key topics to enable race directors to manage successful and sustainable trail races, there is a networking evening, and an expo with sponsors that include race apparel, registration platforms, race director supplies, timing, nutritional products, and awards and medals.
