Who I Am...

I am Ikechi Nnamani, currently a freshman at Rice University in Houston, Texas. I've been high jumping for about five years now, current PR is 2.08 meters but I hope to jump above 2.13 meters before my season concludes. I just recently placed 2nd at the 2010 Conference USA indoor championships, hoping to capture outdoors and proceed to the west regionals this season. I won the 2009 Illinois State 2A Championship last year, and I am currently the state record holder for my class. Two older sisters, Ogonna, who played volleyball at Stanford ('01-'05) won 2 NCAA championships, currently a 2-Time Olympian and silver medalist ('04 Athens, '08 Beijing). My other sister, Njideka, also played volleyball at Stanford ('03-'07), won 1 NCAA championship, currently the Director of Operations for the University of Oregon's track & field teams. My older brother, Nnaemeka, triple jumped at Illinois State University for a few years as well.

I have a few videos, I will upload them soon, please feel free to give some critique, I'm trying to get better daily.
