ABOUT JOHN DEY : I was born & raised in Erie, PA and ran Track (440/880 & relays) & XC at Erie Cathedral Prep HS. I was at best an above average runner, but our claim to fame was winning 58 straight dual meets in XC! I attended Penn State and contnued running "for fun" in 5ks & 10k's. I married an Erie girl, Susan (been married 25+ years) and moved to Florida. We have 3 great boys, Ryan, Daniel & Jack who all started running with the old man when they were kids. Ryan ran for Dr. Phillips (2004-2008) and lettered all 4 years in Track & XC. Daniel ran for Olympia (2008-2012) and also lettered all 4 years in Track & XC and will be attending Clemson in the fall. Jack will be a Freshman at Olympia and will be running XC in the fall. I LOVE to talk running, specifically Florida high school running! Can't wait for XC to start!
