towards the end of the 2007 season at Lane CC i talked to Grady O'Conner about him wanting me to become a decathlete in the season to come in 2008. i was totally up for it. i have always been told by various people that i would be pretty good at it.

with somewhere around 1600 athletes at the invintational and 36 of them in the javelin i was hoping for some good weather to really throw far. but i wasnt going to get that
