Fundraising for Eugene 08 Is In The Final Stretch

Local Organizing Committee Seeks Community Support To Help Get To The Finish Line.

Over the past two years, the community of Eugene has warmly embraced the preparations for the 2008 U.S. Olympic Team Trials – Track & Field. Local and national businesses have stepped up to invest significant partnership dollars with the event, more than 200 community members are volunteering their time, and many individuals have donated $10,000 or more to become members of the 100 Meter Club. The Local Organizing Committee has raised almost 80 % of the funds needed to put on a world class event which will make Track Town U.S.A. proud.
