Hi, my name is Steve Horn. I am currently a Freshman at Carthage College in Kenosha, WI and I run cross country and track. Carthage is a small, expensive, fairly shitty D-3 school and I plan on transferring to the University of Oregon in Eugene next fall. Running and thinking about running takes up most of my time and I love it more than anything else in my life. I ran the 800 in high school, with a fairly pedestrian PR of 2:04ish, so nothing special. None of my high school PRs were worth of shit, due to many injuries, and lack of experience because of all of the injuries. I ran one good CC race this year, a 27:30 8k, and it's a sign of what I'm capable of as a runner. I know I have a hell of a lot more in me that no one's ever seen and I know this track season will say a lot about what I'm made of as a runner, as I am moving up to the 5k/10k. I could honestly say so much more, but I'd rather just talk to people and talk about running and my training, etc, as it is so much more interesting. I love to talk and meet other people, so don't be shy!
