I'm a former Alaskan who has become a happy Oregonian. I have two kids, a great husband, and several outdoor dogs and cats. I like to run, but am not very fast. I like to hike, and this summer I added kayaking to the list of things I'm trying to find more time to do. We live in the country, near Fern Ridge, so that's an easy place to put the kayak in the water.

I run several area runs each year. I've done the Eugene half twice and the Hood to Coast once. I like to do the Steep Hill Chase and this year I relayed the Ramble (first half) but next  year will do the whole 12. Butte to Butte, of course, and Scandia.

I travel quite a bit and like to get out for a run wherever I am.

I've really enjoyed seeing more runners out and about in Track Town the last couple of years.
