Who I Am...

I'm Travis Floeck and one of my titles/jobs is the video director for Runnerspace.com. When I'm not in front of the computer screen for RunnerSpace I can be found out at Lane Community College as the Head Cross-Country and Assistant Track and Field coach, resident manager of The Collegian student housing facility and I'd like to say I'm still an athlete with Team XO, although running has unfortunately taken a backseat to the craziness of everything. We'll see what happens with that, but I'm determined to at least not get fat and jogging occasionally may help.

I'm very excited to start seeing videos uploaded by RunnerSpace members. Videos are an exciting medium to share experiences, information, and more with others. I've truly seen the future this last year attending cross-country and track and field meets, EVERYONE has a digital camera! Everyone can contribute to the growth of our sport, that is the goal here at RunnerSpace. We all have something to share, you run the place! Don't be intimidated to start uploading, we're learning as we go right with you, we'll continue to do what we can to generate excitement for the sport we love. If you have any questions please post on my guest book and we can go about figuring it out together. Don't be shy, get started today....upload a video!

I should be in the gym working on enlarging my muscles, instead of just wanting to SEE them as they are...but I can't win them all, I'm happy for now...Enjoy the ice cream! hahahhaa

Hey Travis I started uploading some stuff to the SOU page, but I really don't know what I'm doing. I saw that you posted a comment telling me to make you an editor, let me know how to do that and I'll get right on it so you can make the page sweet.

Hey Buddy! Running has been an adventure. It is hard to imagine that my knee will ever feel the same, and it is extremely difficult to get back into after injury and so much time off. With that being said, I have been able to hold speed for about a mile, but my speed-endurance is still sufferring. Hope everything is going well, and good luck with the start of your new season!
