what do you mean therapy?  i was simply pointing out how cocky it was for the kid to pump his fists and hurl the flowers into the stands

There is always a fine line between celebrating a victory and giving the appearance of gloating or being cocky. I think he was probably pretty excited about winning a race against some great runners. I don't condone unsportsmanlike behavior, and that's not how I saw it, but let's remember he is a frosh who was running his first outdoor track meet of the season. That being said, I understand your perspective and I respect your opinion. It's the words you used to state it that made your opinion anything but "simply pointing out". Had that been the case, the comment would not have been removed and I would not have made the snide response I now regret making. I hope they remove that one also. I think we can all agree that it was a great race between two athletes who are near the top of the heap of U.S. high school distance runners, and it's nice it was caught on tape for all of us track fans to enjoy.

yea you're right, sorry I shouldn't have said anything, and regardless of what I thought about his celebration, i still can't believe he ran 8:53 as a frosh...incredible stuff
