Head Throws Coach - Illinois State University

Finishing his third season as throws coach at Illinois State, Whitsitt was named the Midwest Region Men's Assistant Coach of the Year by the USTFCCCA.  He coached the throwers to 41 of the team's 90 points at the Conference Championships, and two of his athletes continued on the NCAA Championships, one who finished 2nd in the shot put.  Here, he discusses his program and how he tailors his workouts to athletes who have the "it" factor.
