RunnerSpace Live brings you the rundown on what happened this week in the world of running.

An unthinkable tragedy struck this Monday at the Boston Marathon when two bombs went off very close to the finish line, injuring over 170 people and killing three.  Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of those effected.  Most of the RunnerSpace team was not on site for the Boston Marathon and they are all okay.  I (Ian Terpin) was in Boston and was about to leave my hotel located on the intersection between the two explosions when the bombs went off.  I was able to leave the area and get to the airport shortly after.
