I am a high-school junior student-athlete in Houston, Texas. I run on the varsity Cross Country and Track teams in Division 4A TAPPS. Freshman year I ran X.C. but did not run Track and this past year I ran both X.C. and Track. I begun to take my running seriously after the District Track Meet where I championed the 800m (2:06.01) and placed 2nd in the 1600m (5:01.92). I then practiced hard for State and competed in both events at State. In the 800m I placed 4th (2:07) and I won the Title for the 1600m (4:44.96) beating my PR by approximately 18secs.

I am training hard now and competing in summer meets at Rice university.
