3:45 PDT - Gawd, can your technical folks and announcers get it together?! Broadcast of Sr Women's 800 absolutely butchered - Heat2 offline; H3 no audio, H4 no audio for 300m, then announcer completely misses the call at the finish - did he spill his coffee on himself @ the 600 m mark.

Voices keep coming on with "test, test, mike 2" perfectly clearly and then audio disappears.

Very frustrating.

Yay, 11:55 and video is back on and is even fairly well synchronized with the audio!

At 11:45 AM PDT there is only audio and a GOTRACKTOWN banner scroll on the screen. There was some video earlier of Jr Women's Discus, but nothing but banners for 30+ minutes.

Kelly, the webcast will be on this page. We'll have the player embedded tomorrow when the meet begins.

Is there a way to turn off that blasted viewers counter? Every time it updates, the video pauses - every 6 seconds.

OK, I give. Now we have The View Comes to US Nationals. I've turned off the sound completely. They were making a joke of any events but their own women's hurdles. Jeeze.

I'll watch your muted video and get the results from Flash. Hey, honestly, thanks for the effort - it is better than no video at all, and I will get to see races in their entirety that the networks consider too boring, say, everything over 400m plus the field & multis.

Alas, my expectations were a bit high, but this was a bonus for live time coverage that was not going to be on cable.

Where are the Heptathlon Women's Long Jumps? A kid from our high school is in it and we'd like to see how she's doing.

Night and day difference when the A team came on @ 5PM PDT. Very enjoyable and well done from the 400s on. Can we get that the rest of the way? Great job.

p.s. And do we REALLY need the "Welcome to USA..." message scrolling across the screen? It doesn't pause when the video does, but it surely uses bandwidth that the video needs.

Will there be coverage of Womens Heptathlon Javelin? Maybe during some of the longer running events you could break away to show it?

Also, is there a way to get rid of the echo effect from the announcer?

Why are you showing only the good races on the TV broadcast? We all know they will either not really be shown or get butchered into nothing with human interest stories, PGA Tour updates and HORRIBLE commentary. The TV network doesn't want anyone else to show the races, but they don't really provide quality coverage themselves. This is killing the sport. Just show the races on the feed and save us from the network TV! And please get rid of Larry Rawson and the tired old commentary crew. Go find Ryan Fenton and Mark Floreani right now and give them microphones. They set the standard of video track journalism. Why is it so hard to be a track fan?

Noon Saturday 6/25 PDT. Pretty much echo trackcrusade's comments, particularly after viewing Friday's ESPN2 broadcast. Standard ESPN / NBC format: one third of the program devoted to the 100m or 200m races - pre & post race interviews and the races shown ad nauseum (8-10 times!).

Then, the races they block from web broadcast they show maybe one of 3 heats that contains their predetermined human interest story (e.g. Men's 400 m), or skip completely (SR Women's 800).

So, to this point, after production and technical issues were resolved Thursday afternoon, through the TV mandated signoff on Friday this has been a fantastic option for viewing the meet: JR races in their entirety, field events dropped in on in real time, informed commentary (most of the time). I would consider a modest PPV fee for this kind of coverage that included ALL events - not just the ones that network TV chooses not to cannibalize.

so will the men's 1500 be streamed on here today or will i have to wait for the tv broadcast?

Hey... I think it´s fantastic to be able to watch track & field here, but... Yesterday when all the good races where going on, the focus was somewhere else all the time. For example when it was 1500m with Lagat, well, then the camera was on 5 men preparing the sand for the jumpers. 5 men in white shorts and nice legs indeed, but I hope we can watch running this sunday instead.

@CBIN: This is like a comedy. The voice talks about the 200m and the picture shows a high jumper. Just like yesterday. They did not show the 400m race, but it was very important to show the prize cermony with Wariner and the boys.

Can someone switch cameras!!! There are races going on and it's zoomed on nothingness in the inside field......
