She came in as the third best thrower 50.46m (165-7) this season and the Nike Outdoor National Champion 49.63 (162-10). She defeated US #1 and adidas Outdoor Champion, Eliza King, and New Balance National Outdoor, Sophia Mazzoni. Mazzoni finished third 46.58 (152-10) and King fourth 46.04 (151-00).
