South Eugene OR senior Simon Seung Park cleared 16-4 (4.97m), but placed fourth based on fewer overall misses in the boys high school elite competition at the UCS Spirit National Pole Vault at the Reno Livestock Events Center. Park attempted 17 feet (5.18m), but was unsuccessful after his peers missed at 16-8 (5.08m).
