Simeon Birnbaum of Oregon was fourth on Friday at the Big Ten cross country championships in a time of 22:57.2 on the 8-kilometer layout at the Orange and Blue Golf Course in Savoy, Ill. The Ducks finished third in their first Big Ten conference meet.
