Sydney Thorvaldson, a junior at Arkansas, won the women's 5,000-meter title in a meet-record 15:42.45 at the Southeastern Conference Indoor Championships at the Randal Tyson Track Center in Fayetteville. Thorvaldson is the first Arkansas female athlete since Katie Izzo in 2020 to secure the indoor 5,000 crown.
