Arkansas teammates Peter Maru and Kirami Yego finished first and third in the men's 5,000 meters at the Southeastern Conference Indoor Championships at the Randal Tyson Track Center in Fayetteville, Ark. Maru, representing Uganda, set the meet record by clocking 13:31.11, eclipsing the 2004 all-time mark of 13:42.95 achieved by Alistair Cragg. Yego, representing Kenya, ran 13:33.12 and fellow Kenyan athlete Patrick Kiprop finished fourth in 13:34.11 for the Razorbacks.
