World Record - Christa Bortignon - W80 Triple Jump - 6.81m (22' 4 1/4")
* Christa also jumped 8.03m (26' 4 1/4") wind aided
* Several jumps were well past the old world record of 6.55m (21' 6")
World Record - Christa Bortignon - W80 Long Jump - 3.10m (10' 2")
World Record - Doug (Quenton) Torbert - M65 Shot Put - 16.66m (54' 8")
* Broke the world record multiple times in series
* Added 2 1/2 feet to the previous record!
World Record - Colleen Milliman - W90 Mile - 13:26.46
* Oldest women to ever officially race a mile!
American Record - Gary Patton - M70 3,000m - 11:19.29

Congratulations to Gary Stenlund for his new world record of 154' 7" (47.12m) in the M75 javelin! Also Monica Kendall with a new American record 40' 4 1/4" (12.30m) in the W60 shot put!
The Hayward Classic is one of the top masters track and field meets in the country. This is a rare opportunity to compete at historic Hayward Field, site of the 1972, 1976, 1980, 2008, 2012, and 2016 Olympic Trials.
