The No. 2 Christian Brothers Academy NJ boys scored 25 points to win the boys team title at the Eastern States championship at the Manhattan Invitational at Van Cortlandt Park.
No. 4 Bethlehem Central of New York dominated the team competition of the Eastern States Championship race at the Manhattan Invitational on Sunday, winning the girls title for the second time with 24 points. Bethlehem also won in 2021.
Katie Payne from Tatnall School in Delaware finished second in the girls Eastern States championship race on Sunday at Van Cortlandt Park, running a time of 14:30.3.
Alex Fisher from the Loomis Chaffee School in Connecticut finished second in the boys Eastern States championship race in a time of 12:27.7 on Sunday at the Manhattan High School Cross Country Invitational at Van Cortlandt Park.
Joe Barrett from Christian Brothers Academy NJ won his second consecutive Eastern States championship race and did it in a time of 12:20.7 on Sunday at Van Cortlandt Park. He also led his CBA team to a score of 25 points.
Zariel Macchia from William Floyd NY won her second consecutive girls Eastern States championship race on Sunday at Van Cortlandt Park, running a time of 14:24.4.
