Destiny Lopez, a freshman at Glendale Community College in California, earned eighth place in the women's 3-mile race at the Mt. SAC Cross Country Invitational in Walnut, Calif. Lopez clocked 19:08.3 to help Glendale achieve second place overall with 81 points.
