Denise Chen, a junior at Claremont High in California, won the Division 2 girls varsity yellow race at the 74th Mt. SAC Cross Country Invitational Presented by Nike in Walnut, Calif. Chen covered the 2.93-mile course in 17:40, helping Claremont take third overall with 85 points.
