Graham Blanks of Harvard, the reigning NCAA D1 cross country champion, finished second on Saturday at the Pre-Nationals meet at Thomas Zimmer Championship Cross Country Course in a time of 22:40.5. That was 24 seconds under the course record but still a bit short of New Mexico sophomore Habtom Samuel, who won the race.
